Join the 2018 Bendigo Bank Fun Run Organising Committee
In our 12th year, the Bendigo Bank Fun Run is looking for some fresh ideas and faces to join the 2018 Organising Committee.
What will the committee look like?
Supported by committee members representing Bendigo Bank, Bendigo Health Foundation and the Bendigo Health, Healthy Communities Team, and with the expertise of returning Course Director, Hunter Gill, the Organising Committee will lead the way in delivering Bendigo’s own CBD fun run.
What will my job be?
We have a range of different roles you can play on the committee;
Look after our suppliers that help bring the big day together. From initial booking to confirming the timing of set-up and pack down, this is a great role the highly organised.
ENTERTAINMENT & PRESENTATIONS
A great role for the performers of Bendigo. Keep our participants entertained by booking local acts to surround the course and take to the main stage. You’ll also work with our Timing Company and VIP Speakers to announce our winners on the day.
MARKETING & PROMOTIONS
Have an eye for social media, marketing and all things promotion? This is a great role for the artistic and enthusiastic. Help us tell the story of Bendigo Bank Fun Run and draw our crowd of over 2000 to register and take part in the event.
It takes a village to pull something like this off, and our Volunteers are some of the best! Even better, because they enjoy this event so much, we often have the same teams coming back to help us! You’ll just need a friendly face to help support our wonderful Volunteers in getting ready for the big day.
If you understand the importance of having local business support, and the value a major public event can have for them – then this is your role. We have incredibly generous sponsors get behind the event each year and we like to make sure they know they’re appreciated!
Where do I sign up?
Interested? Or maybe you’d like some more information.
Either way – we want to hear from you!
